The stepover Kimura is slick. The arm bar takes too much athleticism at my age. Adding this to my arsenal.

It's amazing to see these two guys using all the fundamentals I'm using these fundamental techniques with such precision timing against another incredible touch sensitivity so that there is no pausing during the exchange and they are constantly moving adjusting and flowing until someone ultimately gets caught but there is constant movement and flo. B Wendy's to spa in Jiu-Jitsu using the gi it's as intense with as much movement is a world-class wrestling match. When you go to what you did qin and watch most of the fighters also guys who want to get better rarely go 100% intensity and I usually go on somewhere between 60 and 80 percent, it's only the very cream of the crop highly skilled well matched opponents that maintain constant movement in constant transitions nothing is more boring then watching one guy with closed guard facing another guy who has a ton of trouble breaking the closed guard and then the pass itself takes 5 minutes or more but once the man playing guard has his guard passed it's usually at the beginning of the end I would much rather watch guys bar where the transitions are fast and frequent if you're going to waste all this energy trying to prevent the guy from passing your guard when you could allow the guy to make progress while you transition into another position instead of getting your guard passed and then just getting pinned the match becomes a much more exciting and also a better learning tool for both guys I know at first you need to learn to not let guys pass your guard and you need to learn to pass the guard you just passing a tough guard is one of the most exhausting things in Jiu-Jitsu today with leg locks a lot of guys don't learn to maintain a solid guard and other guys don't learn to pass the guard as well because they always end up in some battle for leg locks, leg locks are great but I think it's better to not introduce lots of leg locks until the students are at least a solid purple belt. That way you know that each guy can maintain this guard opening and closing it and you know guys can pass the guard by going over under or around the legs. I don't think I've ever seen Hixson use a leg lock I'm not suggesting he doesn't use them I'm just saying that when you look at Rollsand rickson in the early eighties they are focusing on very basic fundamental techniques and performing them at such a higher level than almost anyone in the world today
